  Candice Benson, Senior Event Consultant and Founder
Candice Benson has always had a love for the event industry. Even before leaving college, Candice was already working in the world of politics helping to plan some of the largest campaign events in New Jersey. During her six years in Corporate America, Candice continued to cull her creativity and skills in organization and time management as a highly sought after Management Consultant. Candice took every opportunity to plan events and her life changed forever when she planned her first wedding. She knew it was what she was meant to be doing and The Finishing Touch was born.
Although located in NJ, Candice has planned events throughout the NY tri-state area, New England and the Caribbean. Most recently Candice has had the opportunity to plan events in Los Cabos, Mexico and London, UK. Traveling frequently, Candice loves to bring back inspiration to share with her clients who are always looking to have that element that has never been seen or used before.
Candice has been featured in some of the industry's top event publications such as The Knot, Manhattan Bride and Special Events Magazine. She currently serves as the Co-director for the North NJ and London branches of the Association of Bridal Consultants and has earned the designation of Professional Bridal Consultant. Email her at

.  Priscilla Leto, Event Consultant
Priscilla joined The Finishing Touch in 2007 after leaving the corporate world to purse event planning and design. She has a degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University and was a Certified Public Accountant. During her years of working in Corporate Finance, Priscilla found herself volunteering to plan charity fundraisers, corporate meeting getaways, and parties for family and friends. It was after planning her own wedding that Priscilla knew that event planning was her calling. Priscilla's specialty is elegant, whimsical themed weddings and events. She is also part of our Event Design division, which focuses on stationary and personalized event decor. In addition to her creative side, her professional experience has prepared her to deal with the business side of events including budgets, vendor relations, and time management ensuring your event is seamless. .  Nicole Spagnoli, Event Consultant Nicole joined The Finishing Touch team in 2006 and has been a great asset planning beautiful weddings and lavish parties. Nicole has always loved weddings and after earning her degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from James Madison University in Virginia, she decided to pursue her dream of helping Brides and Grooms realize their dream weddings. Fortunate enough to travel throughout Europe, Nicole has experienced multiple cultural activities and has used that experience to share with our clients different traditions of wines and culinary diversification. .  Leah Rosensweig, Event Consultant Leah started working with The Finishing Touch a few years ago as a lead Day-of Assistant and has recently joined the team as a full time Consultant. With her, she brings experience in planning large sporting events for Madison Square Garden and The Bell Center in Montreal, Canada. She received her business degree at McGill University in Montreal, and continued on to receive her Master's in Administration with a concentration in Event Planning. Leah's extensive experience, paired with her ability to stay calm in all situations, makes her an amazing asset to The Finishing Touch. .  Soroya Campbell, Event Consultant
After assisting with several weddings, Soroya became an Event Consultant for The Finishing Touch in Fall 2008, and was immediately a huge asset to the company. She joined the team with a diverse background in journalism and marketing, and has worked in the publishing, entertainment/fashion, and hospitality industries. Soroya fell in love with event planning while organizing corporate and not-for-profit events, as well as weddings and celebrations for family and friends. She has a B.A. from Syracuse University, a Master's in Media Studies from The New School University and a Master's in Business Administration from Metropolitan College of New York. She has studied in London and Paris, and enjoys exploring the world. Soroya writes the weekly Finishing Touch newsletter, and heads up our marketing and public relations efforts.
